WELL, HELLO THERE!

let me introduce myself…

My name is Caitlin Da Silva and I’m a 26 year-old Canadian content creator living in Toronto!

My YouTube channel, Caitlin’s Corner, has more than 200,000 followers and 18.5 million views. On my channel, I create videos spanning a wide range of topics within the lifestyle category: planning, organization, food, books, self-care and wellbeing. My goal with my content since I started my channel back in 2016 is to encourage my audience to keep themselves on the top of their to-do list, while also documenting the ups and downs of figuring life out in your twenties (because let’s be real, there’s many)!

In the Spring of 2019, I graduated with a specialization in business management (focus in marketing and a minor in economics) through Rotman Commerce at the University of Toronto. Throughout my undergrad I worked on growing my channel and made the decision to go full-time immediately after completing my studies.

FAQs

How long have you been bullet journaling?

I’ve been bullet journaling since the spring of 2016 —how has it been that long?! My mind is blown!

What are your most used bullet journal supplies?

I have a whole blog post dedicated to sharing my top ten bullet journal supplies…..check it out, here!

What’s your background?

I was born and raised in Canada. All of my grandparents are from Portugal so you’ll occasionally see me talking about Portuguese traditions and making bad attempts at speaking Portuguese— I wish I was fluent like my parents, but unfortunately that’s not the case *sobs*

Wait— didn’t you have a book channel?

Yes! I started my online journey back in 2012 as a book blogger and (eventually) book-tuber under the name The Y.A. Bookworm Blogger. I was a big reader back in high school so I loved creating videos about book reviews, book hauls, reading lists, etc. To make a long story short, fast forward to 2015 when I started university—I suddenly had no time for “fun reading!” It was at that point that I started a second lifestyle channel, which you now know as Caitlin’s Corner, so that I could make videos about student life and adulting while in school.

Now that I’ve graduated, my focus is still on Caitlin’s Corner. However, I still LOVE reading so I’m starting to incorporate more book content onto the channel :)

Do you plan on getting a masters degree?

No, I don’t have any current desires to go back to school. My focus is on all things Caitlin’s Corner.
