MARCH 2022 BULLET JOURNAL SPREADS

Month At A Glance

You guys know by this point that every one of my plan with me videos begins with a month at a glance spread—  for March’s spreads, I opted for a larger calendar — still not completely two full pages wide, but larger than my typical one-page calendars that usually have less space for writing in appointment or event details!

It feels like a crime to create March spreads without incorporating some sort of green, so the one pop of colour you’ll see in this month’s spreads will come from this Tombow dual brush marker in the shade 312….it’s a beautiful seafoam type of green that feels on brand for march without heading into “st.patty green” territory.

On the top left page I added a quote that says: let us live like flowers, wild and beautiful, and drenched in sun” and used the space available at the bottom of the calendar to highlight any important dates that might need more details than the calendar itself gives room for.

Building Good Habits….

Every month I like to track hydration, meditation, and moving my body because — although they are things that have become a lot more naturally integrated into my life — they’re still three things I can easily find myself slipping up in if I’m not being intentional. They’re also three habits that, when I’m on top of, I feel so much better mentally and physically so that’s why this section of my journal hasn’t really altered too much over the years.

Hopping off the theme of habit trackers, the space on the right page is for me to make a list of things to invest my time and energy to. This kind of list is going to be different for everyone because we all have different things we want to prioritize, but some of the items of focus on my list are financial planning, learning new things, reading,  nurturing relationships, etc.

Spring Cleaning is Coming 👀

This spring I really feel like a lot of my attention is going to be directed towards my office because it’s been a while since I’ve done a deep organization session in there, and I’ve noticed that as a result, I’m feeling less calm when working…. so I think tackling that area first, slowly but surely, will have a positive impact on my work-life!

I also want to make a point of going through all of my shoes and cleaning them up (especially my winter gear)! It’s so important to give winter gear proper wipe downs and treatments at the end of the season because all of the salt on sidewalks and roads easily ruins shoes.

Weekly Spread

Ahh yes, time for the weekly spread— the spread I rely on the most for my daily planning needs. I made two boxes with 8 columns each (one for each day of the week and one for a general to-do list). Instead of writing the days of the week in English, I figured I’d practise some Portuguese skills by writing them in Portuguese, starting with Monday AKA segunda-faira. I feel like this simple switch in languages gives the page so much personality!
